Thanks to the Greater West Palm Beach Women’s Club, and one member
in particular, Lydia Krause, a long-time Firm employee and currently the
Litigation Paralegal to
Rich Tullie, personal injury trial lawyer, soldiers overseas will be receiving some extra care packages next week!
Working in partnership with Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, a Lake Worth,
Florida based 501(c)(3) non-profit, Lydia asked our LOCG employees to
donate items for “We Care” packages. These packages contain
necessary basic items like toiletries, batteries, and playing cards, as
well as snack food items and prepared meals. The packages are sent to
active-duty soldiers who are deployed overseas.
The sole mission of the Forgotten Soldiers Outreach is to send care packages
to our U.S. military service personnel who are currently serving in countries
all over the world. The organization takes individual donations from volunteers,
and sells slightly used furniture in Lake Worth thrift store to raise
dollars and donations for the Care Packages.
Each We Care package also contains a motivational letter, written by the
volunteers who donate the items and ship the packages.
Lydia has been a member of the Women’s Club for many years, and collecting
items for We Care packages is an annual donation drive they enjoy. This
year, Lydia invited our firm and our employees to participate, and of
course, we did!
The Law Offices of Craig Goldenfarb, P.A. matched donations made by employees
by buying additional items in bulk from Costco.
Our firm has a history of supporting active-duty U.S. military service
members, Veterans, and their families. In November of 2014, LOCG was the
sole underwriter of
Hoops4Heroes, an annual local basketball tournament that raised almost $5,000 for Wounded Warrior Project.
